Trauma and  Injury Recovery

WHAT IS TRAUMA BODYWORK?

Trauma Bodywork assesses the systems affected by trauma by looking at fascial elasticity, nervous system communication and patterns, circulation and heart rate, and other body assessments. Once the assessments are complete, the therapist and client work together to decide on a bodywork treatment plan that will work best for the client to assist the physical, mental, and emotional body to return to healthy functioning, mostly through fascial , muscular, and nervous system resets.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

How does resonance healing and trauma release assist in stimulating the body’s healing system? To answer that question, let's take a look at the body’s prime communicator, the nervous system. All day, every day, the nervous system transports messages to the brain, heart, and body through electrical signals and vibrations created by neurons. This process allows  the body to go through its daily tasks almost flawlessly.

But what happens when the nervous system gets too many signals going at once? Well, just like rush hour on the freeway, the nervous system’s signals start to slow down and some stop all together. At this point, the body goes into fight, flight, freeze, or fawn. Oftentimes, our nervous system has hit rush hour before breakfast and is working through input long after the body would like to be resting and digesting the day. This can contribute tension in the body, migraines, and mood swings, as a few examples. Eventually, the body will adapt to the freeway clogs in the nervous system and learn how to survive the day to day without really thriving in life. This can manifest as chronic trauma, anxiety, depression, or even chronic pain or fatigue.

But, the story doesn’t have to stop there. What if there was an outside force that could speak the body’s native language, helping to sort out the inner traffic jam and leave the body with a clear path forward and a fresh start? Working through frequency and vibration, the Rezzimax Tuner, Terrehertz wand, sound healing, crystal healing, and other tools assist in stimulating the vagus nerve from the outside, sending signals of calm and relaxation to the stressed out body.

These can help the body to relax, rest, digest, process, and heal from the day, leaving you with more energy to do the things you love to do. So, stop surviving and thrive!
